For those with more questions, more answers are coming…
While the mission has been developed with prayer and intention, there continues to be a lot of learning along the way.
Thank you for your grace and patience as details continue to take shape. We welcome your questions, feedback, ideas, and encouragement through this form.
-
Yes! We pursue excellence in baseball while using the game as a vehicle for discipleship and spiritual formation.
-
No. Athletes and families from all backgrounds are welcome! However, the program is unapologetically Christ-centered, and all participants should be comfortable with that environment.
-
We don’t plan to hold traditional tryouts or drafts.
Instead, we’ll use an open signup model by age group. Once we know how many athletes have registered, we’ll form teams of approximately 12 players.
We are intentionally avoiding a selection process that can create anxiety, comparison, and uncertainty around belonging.
Our goal is for Christ-centered formation to shape every detail of the experience — not just what happens in devotionals, but how athletes are welcomed, coached, challenged, encouraged, corrected, and developed through the game.
-
Team placement will be handled thoughtfully by our leadership and coaching team, with the goal of creating healthy, development-focused team environments.
Because this is a ministry and formation model, we are not starting with the question, “Who deserves a spot?”
We are starting with the question, “How can we best coach, develop, and disciple the athletes God brings us?”
-
No. Playing time will be influenced by preparation, effort, attitude, development, coachability, and team needs. Every player will be valued regardless of role, and every athlete will be developed with intention.
As part of our commitment to whole-person development, we will train players as utility athletes — helping them grow in baseball IQ, positional versatility, confidence, and a team-first mindset.
Our goal is for every player to be known, coached, challenged, and given meaningful opportunities to contribute to the team.

For Fall 2026, player dues are $295 per month for four months: August, September, October, and November.
The total season cost is $1,180, with payments due on the first of each month.
Player dues include:
2 game jerseys
2 practice tees
1 baseball cap
2 pairs of socks
1 beltPlayers will be responsible for providing their own white baseball pants in the style and brand of their choice.
His Farm System is a ministry, and we are actively fundraising through grants, donors, and community partners. Our goal is to direct that support to Hill Country Wings families: help subsidize costs and make this Christ-centered baseball environment more widely accessible.
We are also committed to financial transparency and wise stewardship. As the ministry grows, we plan to publish budgets so families and supporters can see how funds are distributed across the program.
