The Hill Country Wings
Competitive baseball teams for young men being formed to shine.
This is where the mission of His Farm System takes the field.
Wings teams train seriously, compete with purpose, and measure growth beyond stats, rankings, and wins.
This is not a lower-standard alternative to competitive baseball. It is a Christ-centered competitive environment where excellence is pursued without allowing performance to become identity.
A light in the dark
The sports world knows how to celebrate stats, wins, rankings, and highlight moments. We will celebrate athletic excellence in its proper place.
But ahead of that, we want to celebrate the formation that often goes unnoticed:
The player who encourages after an error.
The player who owns his mistake without excuses.
The player who honors an umpire after a hard call.
The player who works faithfully while sitting the bench.
The player who competes fiercely without contempt.
The player who uses strength to serve.
Wings players are not being formed to blend in.
They are being formed to shine.
What athletes can expectWings athletes will be challenged to grow as players and as young men.
You will train seriously, receive purposeful coaching, develop baseball IQ, grow in positional versatility, and learn to compete with toughness, preparation, and a team-first mindset.
But you will also be reminded often: you are more than a player.
Your value does not rise and fall with your batting average, velocity, position, playing time, or game performance. Your identity is found in Christ.
We want Wings athletes to become utility players in the deepest sense — ready to serve wherever they are needed.
On the field, that means being versatile, coachable, alert, and team-first.
In life, it means becoming young men who step into hard places with courage, humility, and faith.
Character matters greatly.
Not instead of skill.
But above statistics.
Families can expect a competitive baseball experience that is structured, purposeful, and intentionally less consuming.
We will be together often enough to build real team culture, but not so often that baseball takes over the household.

What we ask of parentsParents are culture-shapers too.
The way adults cheer, correct, question, compare, and respond under pressure has a powerful effect on young athletes. Please join us to:
- Encourage more than criticize
- Support the team culture and standards
- Help your athlete focus on effort, attitude, preparation, and growth
- Respect coaches, umpires, opponents, and other families
- Trust the process as your son is formed over time
- Remember that identity is rooted in Christ, not performance
We coach with high standards and high grace.
Our coaches will challenge athletes, correct them, encourage them, and hold them accountable. But the goal is not simply better performance.
The goal is formation.

Fall 2026 will be intentionally small.
This first season isn't about validation through building the biggest program. We're focused on prayerfully building the right culture.
FALL 2026 RHYTHM
We are beginning with a limited number of 12U-13U athletes so we can protect the quality of what we are building. As the ministry grows, our hope is to expand in 2027 to support athletes across 8U-14U.
More thought process on how we see this working is outlined in our FAQs.
